A villager is in Nausori Police custody who allegedly stole close to $2000 from a dalo farmer.
Regional Crime Officer, ASP Aca White confirmed the man was taken into custody yesterday and the money is believed be from dalo sales.
The villager is still being questioned.
Meanwhile, police are still looking for the 38 year old man who went missing in the Taveuni waters on Wednesday after the boat he was in capsized.
He went out fishing with a 33 year old fellow villager when their boat capsized due to strong currents.
