A Keyasi villager is in police custody for alleged murder.
Police Media Officer Wame Buatolu has confirmed that the man was taken into custody yesterday and is being questioned in relation to the death of a 28 year old farmer.
The deceased and the suspect are cousins and it is alleged that the suspect hit the victim on the head with a blunt object who later passed away at the CWM hospital.
The alleged incident took place after an argument.
A post mortem conducted revealed that the farmer died of brain hemorrhage due to serious head injuries.
The suspect is expected to be charged soon.
