A 29 year old villager of Draubuta Tailevu currently taking part in a five week training programme, hopes to return to his village and start his own business of coffin and boat building.
The programme which is an initiative to get street boys out of the streets and into employment provides carpentry training where they learn about boat building and coffin making.
Apimeleki Delana said he was always interested in boat building, and with what he will learn he is hoping to start a small business.
Meanwhile, Co-ordinator for the programme, Iferemi Buaserau said this initiative started with the aim of assisting the street boys and to reduce the crime rate in Fiji.
