Police have laid charges on a Taveuni villager who allegedly assaulted two women yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that he has been charged with assault occasioning actual body harm and will be appearing in court today.
It is alleged that the man who was under the influence of alcohol assaulted two women while on his way home after an argument.
