Police in Tukavesi are looking for a villager who is alleged to have indecently assaulted a class 6 student yesterday.
Divisional Media Officer Northern, Sergeant Ajay Nand has confirmed that the identity of the suspect is known to police and he will be arrested soon.
The alleged incident took place when the 12 year old student was on her way home.
The girl was medically examined and the matter was reported to police by the girl's parents.
