Savusavu Police have arrested an 18 year old villager who allegedly defiled a class two student last month.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the incident happened on the 26th of last month and the victim's mother reported the matter to police last week.
The victim and the suspect are from the same village.
Police are yet to lay charges against the suspect as their investigations continue.
