People of Laselase Village in Nadroga can now breathe a sigh of relief, after receiving water tanks which will help ease their water problems.
Five water tanks costing six thousand dollars have been donated and installed by the Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa.
Laselase village was affected by the floods in January as it is situated close to the Sigatoka River.
Fijian Resort and Spa, General Manager Daniele Vastolo said this is an initiative to help those that are in need.
Laselase villager Kalesi Nainoca said the help has come at the right time.
The resort has further plans to install water tanks in other areas like Lawai, Semo and Cuvu village including Sigatoka Methodist Primary School.
