Former Judge Jiten Singh will decide the fate of Iosefo Verevou who has been suspended by the Fiji Football Association from all levels of soccer for three years and also fined $5,000 for breaking camp during a tour in New Zealand with the Fiji Under 20 soccer team.

18-year-old Verevou and the Rewa Soccer Association have taken the matter to arbitration asking Fiji Football Association to lift the suspension on Verevou from district level.

Singh heard the submissions from the Rewa Soccer Association and the Fiji FA yesterday and is expected to come up with a decision by this weekend.

Rewa Soccer President Nazeel Buksh said they have invested a lot of money in Verevou since he was 14 years old and now the team cannot utilise him when he is playing top level soccer.

Verevou has trained with the Rewa soccer team for the Courts IDC and he is hoping the decision goes in his favor.

Rewa will play Nadroga at 4pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park in its first match of the Courts IDC while at 6pm, Nadi will host Tailevu Naitasiri.

In another match tomorrow, Labasa will host Suva at 2pm.

On Sunday, Ba will play Lautoka at 3pm at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.
