Rewa Soccer striker and former Fiji Under 20 soccer player Iosefo Verevou has been asked to pay his fine of $3,360 which was imposed by the Fiji FA Arbitration Tribunal.

Verevou was suspended from all levels of football along with several other players for disciplinary reasons while being part of the Fiji U‑20 side preparing for the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) U‑20 World Cup play‑offs.

However, the Rewa Football Association wrote a letter to the Fiji Football Association on the 5th and 12th of December seeking reconsideration on Verevou's suspension and for him to be included in the Vodafone Fiji U‑20 side at the FIFA U‑20 World Cup 2015.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer Bob Kumar confirmed that the board of control discussed the issue at length at its last board meeting and resolved that since there is already a ruling of the Fiji FA Arbitration Tribunal, the player must pay the imposed fine before playing any level of football.

The same ruling will also apply to the remaining four players.
