Terminated Acting Police Commissioner Romanu Tikotikoca believes that police investigations into the military regarding the Nimilote Verebasaga and Sakiusa Rabaka death is not paramount at this stage because of the current situation the country is facing.
Tikotikoca made the comment in his last day as Acting Commissioner yesterday as new Police Commissioner Captain Esala Teleni took up office.
He has also called on all police officers in the country to stand up and work closely with Commissioner Teleni in helping to maintain law and order in the country.
When questioned on how quickly the investigation into the military will be completed, Teleni said that he needs time in his new post before he can comment on the matter.
