There is word that the first round of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants may be taken to Subrail Park in Labasa.

Fijivillage understands discussions are taking place and a decision will be made tonight.

Nadi’s Prince Charles Park is another venue that has been proposed for the first round of matches.

Meanwhile, after 33 years, the Tavua soccer team will not be part of the BOG next month.

Tavua has been eliminated from next month’s tournament based on a protest decision which was filed by Nadroga.

The protest was filed that Tavua had fielded Lovneel Pratap against Nadroga in a National Soccer League match despite the fact that Pratap was carrying two yellow cards and should have missed the match.
