Police have confirmed this morning that the company vehicle of 40 year old Shalesh Prakash, whose body was found on the Sawani-Serea Road on Sunday, has been found.

Assistant spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that the Nissan pickup van registration DD409 was found abandoned in Nakasi yesterday.

Police now strongly believe that Prakash was allegedly murdered, however, they are yet to make any arrests.

Some neighbours are also expected to be questioned by police soon.

Meanwhile, police are questioning a woman in relation to the Asian businessman who was found dead in Walu Bay yesterday morning.

The female co-worker of the businessman was taken into custody following the discovery.

According to police, there were visible injuries on the face of the deceased, however, they are awaiting the post mortem report.
