New Zealand Warriors winger Manu Vatuvei says he plans to shave the number 11 into his eyebrows throughout the entire 2016 NRL season as a tribute to his childhood hero Jonah Lomu.
Like Lomu, who died last week aged 40, Vatuvei is of Tongan heritage and he grew up in South Auckland idolising the All Blacks legend.
Shaving his playing number into his eyebrows was one of Lomu's trademarks early in his career and Vatuvei told NRL.com he has approached his family about doing the same next season.
Meanwhile, a public memorial service for Lomu will be held at Eden Park in Auckland next Monday at 1pm.
