Manu Vatuvei scored a double to help the Auckland Warriors beat the Penrith Panthers 30-16 last night but Shaun Johnson produced a man-of-the-match performance in the number 7 jersey.

The youngster was sound in defense and creative in attack with his kicking game being the highlight of last night’s win.

Meanwhile, the Melbourne Storm still leads the points table with 24 points followed by the Brisbane Broncos with 20 points and the Canterbury Bulldogs is third with 18 points.
