The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has been told that Fiji can rely on Vanuatu for assistance in any way.

Commodore Bainimarama met the President of Vanuatu Iolu Johnson Abbil Kaniapnin yesterday morning at the State House in Port Villa, Vanuatu and informed him on the developments undertaken by the Fijian government towards holding the next elections.

Commodore Bainimarama highlighted the need for a ‘tailor made’ constitution which would suit Fiji and her people, saying that fundamental human rights issues will be stipulated in the new constitution as the previous one divided the many races living in the country.
