Some van operators in Makoi, 8 miles Nasinu who protested last Saturday are expected to meet Transport Minister Timoci Natuva later today.
Fiji Van and Carriers Association Vice president Rohit Prakash said the van operators have started their operations and they hope that the Interim Minister will make some decisions on their permits.
Meanwhile, Land Transport Authority, Regional Manager Central/Eastern, Uday Singh said LTA will continue to penalise illegal operators.
About 100 van drivers seized their operations over the weekend claiming that LTA officials illegally towed their vans.
