A meeting is currently underway between over 100 van drivers from Makoi 8 miles, Nasinu, who had ceased their services this morning and LTA officials and Police.
This was confirmed to Fijivillage by Fiji Van and Carrier Association Vice President, Rohit Prakash who said that they hope to reach a consensus this afternoon.
Earlier this morning, the van drivers had ceased operations as LTA officials had begun towing their vans away and charging them over $180 to release their vans after they are being towed away.
