The Vice President of the Fiji Van Carriers Association has welcomed the decision to issue licenses for van bases in Nausori saying it will bring relief to many van operators.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Rohit Prakash said they are happy about the decision to issue another 40 licenses, but they are still awaiting the outcome of the meeting scheduled today, which will decide on van operators in the Makoi, Nasinu area.
A meeting is scheduled to take place between the Minister for Transport and Works, Timoci Natuva and the Chief Executive Officer for the Land Transport Authority, Etuate Koroi later today.
