While help continues to pour in for those affected by floods, there is another initiative set to coincide with Valentine’s Day this Saturday and use love as its basis for the event in sharing what they have and making a difference.
A team of local community members on Denarau Island are organizing "Love Aid 09", a fundraising event to be held this Saturday on Denarau Island to raise funds to help those who have lost all during the floods.
Erica Robinson, Love Aid 09 committee member said money collected will be donated to the Red Cross and local villages surrounding the Nadi flood plain.
