Fiji born winger Virimi Vakatawa has been named in the final 12 member team for France to participate in the Rio Olympics next month.
Vakatawa has been dominating the sevens world with his pace, power and skills making him one of the most highlighted players in the sevens series.
France will be captained by the vastly experienced Terry Bouhraoua and the 12‑man group includes Julien Candelon and Steeve Barry.
France Mens Sevens squad: Jérémy Aicardi, Steeve Barry, Terry Bouhraoua, Julien Candelon, Damien Cler, Manoël Dall'Igna, Vincent Inigo, Pierre‑Gilles Lakafia, Jonathan Laugel, Stephen Parez, Virimi Vakatawa, Sacha Valleau.
France is pooled with Australia, South Africa and Spain.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will be announcing the Vodafone Fiji 7s team this Saturday.
Fiji will take on Brazil in their first game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
