The Lautoka Football Association has banned striker Osea Vakatalesau for a year and also fined him $2,500 dollars.
Disciplinary Committee chairman, Magistrate Sadiq Koya said that they have come to the decision after looking at what Vakatalesau has done to the association.
He added that a decision on goal-keeper Alifereti Baleiloa will be known next week.
Vakatalesau left for PNG in the past weeks to play for the Hekari United without informing the Lautoka team on his departure.
He was one of those players that face suspension after they boycott the training for the Battle of the Giants.
Meanwhile, Lautoka is now waiting for the National Soccer League results between Navua and Ba tomorrow in a hope that it ends in a draw for them to defend the league title again.
