Lethal striker Osea Vakatalesau has been given the green light to feature for the Papua New Guinea based Hekari United Football club.

This comes as Fiji Football Association issued Vakatalesau’s International Transfer Certificate.

Fiji FA, CEO Bob Kumar said Lautoka FA and Hekari United have reached an agreement.  

Malakai Tiwa, Alvin Singh, Tuimasi Manuca, Simione Tamanisau and Pita Bolitoga are the other Fijian players in the Hekari squad.

Hekari United next month will be Oceania’s representative at the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup UAE which takes place in Abu Dhabi from December 8th to 14th and the pacific islanders are in action on the first day against hosts Al Wahda.

The Papua New Guinea based earned a spot in 2010 FIFA Club World Cup after taking out the 2009 2010 O League.

They defeated Waitakere United of New Zealand in the final.
