Top Ba soccer striker Osea Vakatalesau has been cleared to play this Sunday against Suva despite copping a red card against Nadi in the Pacific Cup final.
The normal procedure is a player has to miss a match after shown a red card.
But Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said the Pacific Cup was not a Fiji FA sanctioned tournament and thus Vakatalesau’s suspension will not apply in local competition.
