The Digicel Suva 7s rugby tournament is currently underway at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
In the opening Pool match where we expected to see an outright winner, Suva One were held to a 5-all draw by Echo Gold, a club team from Lautoka.
PWD Bure, who is the top seeds, won their opening match beating Hydro 14-12. Army Maroon thrashed Vio Two 33-7.
In other games, Senibiau beat Naduruniu 21-19; Draulu upset Fire 12-5 and Namara Yasawa won by default over Vio.
Top clubs favourite to win today's tournament are Wardens, Red Rock, Waimanu, Police Blue and Ratu Filise.
The winner of the Digicel Suva 7s rugby tournament in Lautoka will qualify for the Suva International 7s tournament that will be held next year.
