The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be a big and better tournament next year.
Those were the words of Uprising Beach Resort owner, Rene Munch after yesterday's final where Red Rock came from behind and beat Army 19-15.
Rene said that the outcome of the two day tournament was encouraging with plan of more invitational team from abroad coming to play in our shore.
It also got a praise from current IRB 7s series champion Samoan coach Stephan Betham who believes that it is one of the toughest competition in the World.
Also New Zealand 7s coach Gordon Tietjens was happy to be invited and to be part of the Digicel Matai team.
Tietjens said that with 7s wizard Waisale Serevi taking part in this tournament it will be a great boost for the 7s rugby code.
