The National soccer team will face an uphill battle to qualify for the semifinals of the OFC Nations Cup in June.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, hosts Solomons and Papua New Guinea.
New Zealand and Solomons are favorites to make it to the semifinals but considering the performance of our Under 23 soccer team in the recent Olympic qualifiers, Fiji also stands a good chance to be in the semis.
The Fiji soccer team will play New Zealand in its first match on June 12th in Honiara.
