The Water Authority of Fiji has labeled the weekend upgrading works at the Waila Treatment Plant as successful.
The Authority’s Corporate Communications team leader Michelle Tevita-Singh said engineers successfully completed the first of the upgrading works at the treatment plant within the 10 hour allocated timeframe with little disruptions to consumers.
Singh added more is yet to be done.
The $23 million upgrading works is funded by the ADB.
