The upgrading and recognition of Fiji's High Commission in Australia is normal.
Those were the sentiments expressed by Australian High Commissioner to Fiji James Batley who said the recognition of Fiji's Kamlesh Arya from Acting High Commissioner to High Commissioner is a routine exercise.
Arya was appointed Acting High Commissioner to Canberra in August last year which the Australian Government had agreed to.
He was acting in the position for a year.
