The upgrading works on the Ratu Cakobau Park have now been completed and it will be ready for use next year.

Special Administrator Napolioni Masirewa said they have done a lot of improvements to the ground which has now met international size of 120m in length and 80m in width.

Masirewa said industrial sprinklers have been positioned and also a new goal post for both soccer and rugby.

He added the Namarai 7s will be the first event played on the new turf.
