The Fiji National University has requested close to $15 million for their 2010 Budget.
This was confirmed to Fijivillage news by interim University Board member and Dean of the Fiji School of Medicine, Ian Rouse, who said this will go mostly to improving infrastructure.
Doctor Rouse adds that this figure was reached after all the State run tertiary institutes put in their proposed budgets in their meeting last Monday.
However, Doctor Rouse adds that FSM has not requested for any additional money for next year.
The 2010 National Budget announcement is expected to be made on the 27th of this month.
