Unions are already talking to their lawyers for their next course of action about the Appeal Courts decision to take the retirement age to 55.
Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary Maika Namudu said the Association authorities have discussed about the matter.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Island Council of Trade Unions (FICTU) has also decided to challenge the Appeals Court decision.
General Secretary Attar Singh said they want a stay on the court decision.
The Appeals Courts quashed Justice Filimoni Jitoko's judgment that PSC's decision of 9th March, 2007 to reduce the retirement age from 60 to 55 was null and void last week.
