Representatives of the two major Sugar Unions are hoping of a fruitful meeting with Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
National Farmers Union National President Sanjit Maharaj is currently meeting with the PM in Rakiraki.
Maharaj said he will highlight a number of concerns faced by the sugarcane farmers.
Meanwhile, general secretary for the Fiji Cane Growers Association Bala Dass is hopeful of meeting the sugar minister tomorrow when he visits Nadi.
