The Confederation of Public Sector Unions has today informed their members through advertisements, the venues and time for the public rallies to be held around the country despite permits not being issued by authorities.
Speaking to Village News, Fiji Public Sector Service Association Industrial relations officer Nirbay Singh confirms that they have applied for permits however they are yet to receive a reply.
On 11th of this month the first rally will be held in Suva, the following day in Lautoka and on the 13th of July in Labasa.
The unions are disputing the 5 percent pay cut, the abolishment of the Partnership agreement by Government and breaches in the Memorandum of understanding by PSC.
