The Public Service Commission said the Unions should support the Performance based Management system introduced by the government which will replace the Cost of Living Adjustment [COLA].
Chairman Rishi Ram said the introduction of the merit pay will augur well to hardworking civil servants who deserve to get the pay increment.
He said the merit pay system is on its final stages before it is implemented.
