The Confederation of Public Sector Unions is confident that the Public Service Commission will soon be negotiating with them, regarding their 10% Cost of Living Adjustment claim for this year.
Union General Secretary Rajeshwar Singh said they have received a reply from the PSC that talks will begin soon.
The PSC had earlier said that the Interim Government will now reward civil servants under the Performance Management System, and COLA will now be scrapped.
However, the Trade Unions are still calling for COLA.
