The delegation of Australian Council of Trade Unions and their NZ counterpart have not been allowed to enter Fiji.

ACTU president Ged Kearney and NZ Council of Trade Unions president Helen Kelley arrived with three others at the Nadi International Airport from Sydney earlier this afternoon.

However, they were told to remain in transit and leave on the next Australian flight this hour.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said he had already made it clear that the delegation will not be allowed into the country because it had a preconceived agenda, was not interested to speak to the government about the situation on the ground and they had a partisan approach.
