We have stressed in our submission that more than 170 Air Fiji employees and their families are suffering as they have not been paid since mid-April.
These are the words of Transport Workers Union General Secretary Kamlesh Kumar, who said although they could not be present at a board meeting of Air Fiji shareholders in Beijing, China, which was held yesterday, the Union was allowed to make a written submission on behalf of the workers.
Kumar said there have been signs that the Tuvalu government is willing to revive the organization.
