Former Vice President and Roko Tui Bau Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi has called for understanding towards other religious organisations.
Ratu Joni made this call while officially launching the 50th Anniversary of Sanatan History in Fiji at the Civic Center this morning.
He praised the followers and founders of Sanatan Dharam for their achievement in the country and called them to have more understanding particularly towards the Fijian community.
He highlighted on the hardships faced by the Girmitiyas who came from India in the 1800's and also other religions that only focus on their followers.
