The Fiji under-20 team lost to Argentina 27-10 for the 11th position playoff and has settled for 12th place at the Junior World Championships in Japan.

Despite the loss, the Fijian boys have moved up from their 14th position last year.

Speaking on IRB.com, Fiji under-20 coach Osea Umu said that the boys have learnt a lot of new things in this year's tournament and will try to start their preparations earlier for next year's tournament.

Meanwhile, New Zealand beat England 44-28 in the Junior World Championship finals to be crowned Junior World Cup champions.
