Under 20 rugby side named
Sorovaki said the local boys have earned their place and having a stronger side will make a difference in this year’s campaign.
Alex Hodgeman who is playing for the Canterbury development side and France based Sevanaia Galala have performed very well in the trials.
Meanwhile, two brothers from Veiseisei, Vuda, Samuela Kerevi and Ratu Josua Kerevi, have also been selected.
They play in the second-five eighth and centre positions.
Other overseas based players who have forced their way into the national under 20 side are Joketani Raikabula, Michael Little, Samuela Vatuniveivuke and Timoci Koroitunidau.
The National Under 20 side will be captained by Matayavusa Lea who is from last year’s squad.
The team has already marched into camp at Queen Elizabeth Barracks.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Wales in the Junior World Cup.
Fiji takes on Wales on 4th June.
