The Fiji under-12 soccer team is out of the knockout stages from the Danone Cup Soccer Tournament in France.

The Farouk Janeman coached side finished third in their pool with five points, and will now play for 17th to 32nd spot with their opponents yet to be confirmed.

Fiji in their opening match last night lost to Netherlands 4-3 on a penalty shootout, but they bounced back from the defeat to beat Qudar in their second match by 2-0.

In their third pool match, Fiji were held to a nil-all draw by Belgium, and suffered another loss in their last pool match against Switzerland by 2-0.
