The University of the South Pacific will be hosting a first of its kind, grand reunion later this year.

USP's Marketing Manager and Communications Ana Boud said with the University turning 42 years old this year and with the formation of the Alumni Office it is an opportune time to host the reunion.

Boud said the reunion is a lead up to the Golden Jubilee celebrations in which they will be celebrating in a few years time.

She said the reunion means the celebration of achievements for its alumni and also of the University as over the years the graduates have become successful in their chosen fields, as many of the graduates are working in the private and public sector, holding some of the top positions as CEO's and members of Government.

The Gala Dinner will be hosted by the Vice Chancellor with addresses from some of the USP's most distinguished alumni.
