The University of the South Pacific has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of New Zealand's largest universities to help improve the services provided to students.
USP Vice Chancellor Professor Rajesh Chandra who was in Auckland last week said the signing of the agreement further strengthens the ties between what is considered to be the Pacific's and New Zealand's well known universities.
He added he was also able to secure more funding for USP.
Professor Chandra revealed that New Zealand currently provides $7 million in aid annually to USP.
