Students at the University of the South Pacific will be staging a protest march this week after their demands were not met by Institution management.

The USP Student Association had given Registrar Walter Fraser until last Sunday to step down from his post as they say he has implemented rules that are now depriving them of certain privileges.

However, Fijivillage News spoke to one of the executives from USPSA council Emily Paka and she said one of the reasons as to why they want Fraser's removal is that he has become too dominant in the decision making process whereby everything has to go through him and needs his approval.

USPSA President Illifileti Tobo has confirmed a march will be held at USP but a date is yet to be finalized.
