In a match that just ended gold medal favorites USA defeated Argentina 109-83 in the second semifinal and sets up a final showdown with Spain who beat Russia in the first semifinal.
The final will be played on Monday at 2am.
Meanwhile with new Olympic records continue to be set today the USA women 4x100 meter relay team created history by winning gold and setting a new world record of 40.82 seconds.
In the Men’s 4x400 meter relay final Ramon Miller powered home as he anchored the Bahamas relay team to win gold, USA has taken while Trinidad and Tobago takes bronze
In football Korea has taken the Bronze medal after beating Japan 2-0 in the bronze medal play off.
Looking at the medal tally, USA is now leading with 41 gold, 26 silver and 27 bronze, China is second with 37 gold, 25 silver and 19 bronze while Great Britain is third with 25 gold, 15 silver and 17 bronze.
