Digicel Fiji Sevens senior member Vilimoni Delasau has rated their pool opponents USA and France as the biggest threat in defending the Melrose Cup this weekend.
Delasau who is playing in his 3rd World Cup Sevens tournament said the Americans have mastered the game of Sevens and it was evident when they defeated Fiji in the NZ Sevens and reaching the semifinal at San Diego.
The Mounteban based winger said he has inside knowledge of the players in the French team which he hopes will be an added advantage to the Fiji team.
For Fiji coach Iliesa Tanivula, the USA team will be in the back of his mind for sometime after he lost his opening Sevens coaching career match to them in Wellington.
This time around the Namotomoto lad is looking to avenge the loss in the game that matters the most.
Fiji's opening pool game is against Georgia on Friday at 4.16am.
