The US Ambassador to Fiji has revealed that they are willing to assist Fiji in its path to elections.
Ambassador Steven McGann made the comments while addressing guests at the swearing-in ceremony for the latest batch of peace corp volunteers at his official residence.
McGann while quoting from a recent speech made by US President Barrack Obama said they are willing to help see the election of a government who will empower the rights of people.
More than 20 peace corp volunteers were sworn in today and will be based at different villages and locations around the country to carry out community work.
The chief guest at the ceremony was the Permanent Secretary for PSC Parmesh Chand.
