The US Embassy and its International partners will always continue to work with the Fiji Government despite the political differences.
That was revealed today by the US Ambassador Steve Macgann who was a guest at the closing of the 4 day Disaster Management Table Top Exercise at Novotel Convention Centre in Lami.
Macgann said after seeing the devastation caused by the January flood, he promised he would organize an Intensive Training course for DISMAC and other stakeholders.
Training included the preparedness, the importance of communications during an emergency.
Present at the Exercise were officials from the Australian Embassy, NZ Embassy, Commissioners, Military, Police, Redcross, Vodafone, Dismac officials, Municipalities.
