USA Sevens team coach Al Caravelli is hoping to again upset the World Cup Sevens champions Fiji.
Iliesa Tanivula's team lost to USA 15-10 at the New Zealand International Sevens in Wellington last month and Caravelli wants to repeat it again but this time at the World Cup Sevens tournament in Dubai.
Caravelli said the 12 players he has brought to Dubai are a very good mix of speed, power, experience and youth, with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and energy.
Caravelli is aware of the need to keep the players calm prior to the start of the tournament.
USA, which will also have the services of Fijian Jone Naqica in their side, will meet France in their opening pool match on Friday morning at 1.44 and then take on Fiji in the second pool match on Friday evening at 8:50.
