A religious group from USA is currently touring the Western Division to assist people who have been affected by recent floods.
Spokesperson for Shri Ram Mandir in California Parma Nand Sharma says they brought $45,000 with them last week and provided assistance to over 100 families in Ba and Nadi with food vouchers.
According to Sharma they also visited ten schools and assisted a few students who are finding difficulty in paying their school fees.
The religious organization raised funds from former Fiji residents after the flood. The team will be in Nadi today visiting some schools.
